is a type of nuclear medicine imaging.
Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small
amounts of radioactive material to diagnose or treat a variety

certain other abnormalities within the body.

| CT/CAT
SCANS |

Computed Tomography (CT or CAT) Scans
provides higher resolution images than conventional X-rays,  but
generally not as well-defined as those produced by MRI. CT uses a
computer to direct the movement of an X-ray tube to produce multiple
cross-sectional images of a particular organ or area of the body. CT is
used to detect tumors and other conditions affecting bones and internal
organs. It is also used to detect the occurrence of strokes, hemorrhages
and infections.

sound waves and their echoes. The technique is similar to
the echolocation used by bats, whales and dolphins, as
well as SONAR used by submarines.

 Fluoroscopy
is a study of moving body structures - similar to an x-ray
"movie." A continuous x-ray beam is passed
through the body part being examined, and is transmitted
to a TV-like monitor so that the body part and its motion
can be seen in detail.
